The Moore Center is Hiring a Companion Near Manchester, NH
Liveincaregiver / companion / Direct Support Professional providingsupervision and assistance for developmentally challengedindividual to maintain maximumindependence.
Thisis a 24 / 7 salary position in a nonsmoking childfree environmentwith a cat that lives in the home. The Companion will work withtheir manager on scheduling time off and vacations to ensurecoverage within the home.
OnCall responsibilities may berequired.
Responsibilities :
- Followsupervision requirements per the individuals Annual ServiceAgreement
- Administerdailymedications
- Providetransportation of the client on a dailybasis
- Provide personalcare and support daily living skills including assisting the clientwith increasing living skills to improveindependence
- Supportparticipation in recreational activities and / or other areas ofinterest
- Completeand submit comprehensive monthly documentation as required byregulations
- Maintaina safe and comfortable environment that meets all State and Fireregulations
- Arrangerespite coverage with providers who are preapproved by the FamilyManager and meet Moore Center / Regulatoryrequirements
Requirements
Abilityto speak read write and communicate effectively inEnglish
Valid Driver License cleanmotor vehicle and criminal records BEAS OIC DCYF clearance reliablevehicle and comprehensive personal automobile coverage at a$100000 / $30000 level
Satisfy Agencyand medication training requirements before beginning work with theindividual
